Entdecke die Strände von Nizza
The coastline of Nice is a long stretch of beautiful beaches, from the Alte Stadt to the airport. Nice has over 8 kilometres of public beaches that stretch all the way to the city! Crystal clear turquoise waters are one of the main attractions of Nice. So all through the long Nice summer, you can enjoy sunbathing on the beach just metres from the old-town. The beaches are stone beaches (what the French call “galets”), so we recommend using our kostenlose Strandmatten, available at reception. There are showers available at the beaches, but no lockers, so only bring what’s necessary.
Private beaches dot the coastline and have their own restaurants with French cuisine, chic bars and lounge-chairs and umbrellas. Treat yourself to some luxury lounging with a prime spot by the Côte d’Azur.

One of the largest and most westerly beaches that extends over 350 meters and has wheel-chair access. A sandy beach volleyball court has been laid out and is available for public use.
La Reserve Strand
This beach is located just after the port of Nice and is more secluded and quieter than some. It’s a favourite of locals who want to avoid the crowds without leaving the city. Not far from the beach is a food truck called ‘La Gratta’ with some excellent Pan Bagnat, a traditional Nicois sandwich. Next to La Reserve beach is a famous up-scale restaurant called Le Plongeoir, for foodies who don’t mind spending a little more on exceptional seafood. Get some delicious sunset cocktails and enjoy the view! For a more bistro style meal, restaurant Le Club Nautique is reasonably priced and has the best views of any restaurant in town with a view of the sweeping bay of Nice.

Located just below the old-town, it’s one of the most accessible and popular beaches in Nice, right in the centre of everything. You can find Water Skiing, Wake-boarding, Para-sailing, Flyboarding and Water Donuts. Sign up for at reception with discounted rates!

Der Strand, die Lounge-Bar und das Restaurant sind mit Seilen, großen Holztafeln und einer riesigen Pergola wie auf einem Kreuzfahrtschiff oder einer Yacht eingerichtet. They’re open during the evening and have great food and friendly staff.
Beach view bars
Many luxury hotels feature rooftop terraces where you can enjoy a sunset drink with stunning views of the entire bay. While these spots may be pricier, the breathtaking panorama is well worth it. For a perfect sunset aperitif, consider visiting the Meridian Hotel.
